I raise my feet up, too scared to touch the ground

To light upon the thoughts, that tear me asunder

Ever needing to forget

I close my eyes, I just wander

An avalanche of whispers, when all grows quiet

Echoes repeating, in the dead of night

There's nowhere else to flee

So sing me to sleep, or I'll fall in too deep

The lucid dreamer directs the dream

I am the dream and I am the dreamer

I face the light in me to vanquish the darkness

In cycle after cycle, in nothingness as in life

This is my prayer
